Yes you can pay for one at like your domain provider but you can also get free ones so I would do that if you can.
Gratis SSL certificates can be had at
Let's Encrypt.

I don't know of other providers, although there may be some. I never had to set up site certificates myself yet.

In addition to the new server I have also got SSL/HTTPS setup and working now as well.
