@Skillz, when you opened the DC News fire-hose, I first thought it to be overkill. But it turns out that useful notices are in here, like this one. Saved my computers from going idle for hours, as I saw this just in time and could reschedule one of my periodic bunker reloads. (I didn't pay attention to the notices tab in boincmgr.)

You know, I had mixed feelings about doing this myself. I know these things are posted in the BOINC managers already. However, like you, I ignore them everytime.

I now find myself at least reading the headlines for them since I've got a bunch of them pulling the news feed in here.
