Re: Radioactive@home + GQ GMC-300E Geiger Counter
If you just want points, then now. If you really want to wait for more accurate readings from your devices then we got to wait on a new app that fixes the problems. You can enable "testing" mode in your preferences so the inaccurate data collected by this device isn't recorded on the map a...

Re: Radioactive@home + GQ GMC-300E Geiger Counter
So the host name/dns bullcrap going on with Radioactive@home is really ticking me off. Some of my hosts connect to the project fine while others do not. So I setup a DNS server for all them to use and manually entered a value to force that DNS server to resolve radioactiveathome.org to 145.239.234.2...

Re: Feed Bot Issues
Okay, its still doing the same thing and I know for sure at least one project (RakeSearch) has posted news recently. Will be looking into this tomorrow.

Re: AMD Epyc 7H12 Power Readings
The only thing I am getting are the LLR2 Testing tasks. I'm not even sure what Sandbox 2 is.
I think I might set a box fan up next to the host to move air across the whole board. See if that helps the cooling and gets it to boost higher.

Re: AMD Epyc 7H12 Power Readings
I was wondering if it was the VRMs that got hot for the project causing the CPU to throttle. The AsRock board has no way to monitor VRM temps and I don't know of a way to check through the OS (Linux) to see VRM temps. I'm assuming the AsRock board doesn't have a temp sensor on the VRM since the IPMI...

Re: Feed Bot Issues
Same result for me as well.
I looked around a few of the BOINC projects and didn't see any new posts. I'll check more later to see if any of them do have posts since then.

AMD Epyc 7H12 Power Readings
I happen to have a really expensive power meter for measuring power use on my hosts. I will be making threads as I test the hosts to see what kind of power they draw at the wall.

Re: Forum software updated to latest version
I'm reaching out to the author of the extension. See if he has any ideas on what we can do to make this more automated. I was reading around and their is a way to manually set a cronjob on the host to trigger the fetch instead of using the built in PhpBB cron scheduler. I've asked him about it and w...

Re: Forum software updated to latest version
From what I can gather the fetch mechanism is simply a cronjob that issues the fetch command. So I think it's using the same function to run the fetch. The only difference being we push a button to start it while the cronjob is just set to run at intervals checking. Was really hoping the updated ver...

Re: [ADSL] The project has been stopped
Yes I noticed that as well. I also tossed ALL my CPUs on the project. With the issues running within' I want to make sure I at least get my 10M milestone before it goes down. Assuming she pisses the admin/owner off enough that he just shuts the project down on his own.

Upgraded the feed post bot from 1.0.11 to 1.0.14. Hopefully it doesn't get hung up like the older version did.

Re: Forum software updated to latest version
Looks like I got the rss feed bot back online as well. It might need to still be kicked every once in a while to get it started again, but that's something Stef has been doing an excellent job at doing. I'm checking for a latest update on it which seems to be posted on a github repo instead of on th...

Re: Feed Bot Issues
I will be looking for an updated version or a new feedbot for the latest version of the forum. edit Their might be a way to select how old of a post it searches for in the feeds and then posts any from that point forward. If we set a cronjob on the server that definitely wont ever fail w/ those line...

Dark theme installed. Select it in your profile if it's not visible or select the prosilver if you want to return back to the lighter theme.

I do not see any issues as of yet. The editor buttons all work and everything looks to be formatted correctly. This post is from the quick reply. If it goes though, it works also.

Forum software updated to latest version
Testing some of the features to see what works. Everyone else please feel free to do the same. I realize the following: All the custom mods/extensions are disabled. I will need to grab versions that are compatible with the latest version as this was a semi major update. Custom themes will also need ...

Radioactive@home + GQ GMC-300E Geiger Counter
So I read on the Radioactive@home forums that the GQ GMC-300E Geiger counter can work with the project, you just need to run the app using the anonymous platform. You can buy the detector here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IN8TJYY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ($109 US...

That feed bot is a pain in the a$$. Thank you for tending to it constantly to keep it running.
I wish their was a better mod/plugin that handled it.
