When the server came back up, all the new tasks resulted in computational errors after 2 seconds on my Radeon VII on linux. I shut it down for now.

Yeah, Einstein doesn't use DP math. Apparently memory bandwith/performance is one factor for Einstein performance but I think it's more complicated than that.

The BOINC coproc_info.xml file also shows OpenCL 3.0 on all of the computers so I guess that means it should work even for the really old cards... According to the thread above, the server only distributes the new app to computers with Nvidia compute capability 6.1 or higher. It might be worth test...

The app version distributed by mint is an older version. Perhaps installing the latest version manually would fix that error.

So if you didn't enter the team stats and user stats files when you added the project then it won't work.

I did add those so I just need to be patient.

EDIT: I did find an error in the team stats url.

So far I haven't seen any stats show up in the Rosetta@home marathon. Also, do not select the Sprint project. Make sure it's set so a random sprint will be selected. I know you can select a specific project, but to stop the massive bunkers the Sprint won't be announced until it starts each time.
