Hello Team!

Post by burninator »

Hey all. Burninator here. I've been interested in DC since around 2014 (also around when my hardware hobby really took off). Early 30's professional working for the US Forest Service. Living in Hilo, HI. Just got married last summer. Wife and I both work. No kids (yet).

I enjoy computer building as a hobby and try to have some kind of "project" going. I like to tinker with DIY projects. I really enjoy Paradox Games (Hearts of Iron, Stellaris etc.). If you like that style of game definitely reach out and we can try to set up some multiplayer campaigns. Giant history nerd.

Desktop CPU History: Athlon 64 of some kind > Athlon X4 760 > A10-7870K > Ryzen 7 1700 > Ryzen 7 2700X > Ryzen 7 5800X

Laptop CPU History: Core T9900 (mobile) > A10-7300 > Ryzen 7 2700U > Ryzen 3 5400U

GPU History: Geforce 6800 GT > Geforce 9600 GT (mobile) > R7 260X > R9 390 > R9 390 > Vega 64 Reference'

(many DC and friends builds not included here)

Initially probably not the greatest call. The 760K was just okay. The a10-7300 was a total POS.

I have a laptop with the 2700U in it. Wish I would have just went with a similarly priced Intel laptop instead.
