How do you pronounce "BOINC"

Do you give it a name or just say the letters individually?
I pronounce is like "BYE UN IC"
But after watching a video I think I might be pronouncing it incorrectly.

Oink like a pig but with a B in front. I guess I've never heard someone else say it.

I was having trouble figuring out how to type it out, but that's how I pronounce it as well. Just based on how it's spelled, never heard anybody say it out loud.

So its pronounced with a heavy B and K at the end? Thats how the video pronounces it.

This is how I pronounced it.
Like Bionic. Similar to Bionic Six, the cartoon from the 90s I used to watch.

No idea why I've always called it "BIONIC" I guess it looked so similar to the cartoon I just kind of stuck.

Round these here parts, "boink" was slang for sexual relations. I say BOINC the same way.

The proper pronunciation is just a bit odd to me so I say "BOE-INK".

I've always pronounced it Boink. Whenever I mention it to someone the first reaction I always get is "sounds pornographic".
